They look nice for sure...But I hate a white leg bird. Whites need to be slate leg for phoenix. But some lines have a few other leg colors also. But if your not going to show breed what you like...If it's not fun why raise them...You seem to have good type show type Phoenix...I would show them. Yes he's that good for a Phoenix. If you were breeding to have them look Onagadori the white would need to have yellow legs and the gold green leg. Breed what you like....I do.....Nice birds.....TM

Thats about average for a good Phoenix...As long as they drag....TM

I don't know how long their saddles are, I haven't measured them, but the blue reds drag the ground which is pleasing to me at that age..

If the birds are from Amanda people you better take her up on them...She; Like myself knows her birds and have breed them for years and knows what to look for. Her birds have a more Onagadori look to them so I'm sure they have NM in pretty much all the birds. Or at least carrying it... So if I were you I'de take her up on them because it may be a while before she has more......Just my opinion......Toni-Marie

Well you know there are breeders that have been working on very leggy Phoenix for years. Some of the Ismer Phoenix I imported back in 2002 are that way. That was the Idea . They(Germans) crossed Regular Phoenix to Modern game.LF...There very pretty birds. You can still have real long legs and long saddles....I think it makes them look more elegant....To me at least.. Just keep crossing long saddled birds to the ones that need more...Here in the USA we call them Modern Phoenix.......TM
