I always dreamed of a laced leghorn type bird, a laced longtail would be good. I agree, having laced tails would be great. Depending on the route you're going, it could be a fun project.
I want to try to get light brown back into our line. We have the goldens and silvers which have only given us the silver pyle pullets (white with red breast), silver pullets, a silver cockerel, and gold cockerels. No gold pullets yet. I think ideally we'll keep the pyle colored birds and breed one to the gold and one to the silver. I want to keep silver pullets too since they're out of our silver hen who didn't molt until her 6th spring (she looks much much better than before molt).
So now the fun job of going through these birds we have, culling some, and waiting for the incubator to empty some before I start looking for light brown/BBR eggs
