I simply do not have enough apartments to house them in. NO, this is not all of them! These pictures are just a few from one day a couple months ago. I have had over 40 broodies the past few months. Some were broody more than once, too.
Kathyinmo: I only had 2 real hens (as opposed to young pullets) go broody this season but one has 3 times and one twice. I finally broke one and the other I snuck babies in with after only a week sitting... if anymore go broody, I am breaking them: I too do not have the lodging to accomodate them indefinitely with tiny babies!
