Africans are my favorite geese. The most friendly geese that I have. Eggs from these two should hatch this week. They will be a year old in June.

This is a photo of Arrowhead, one of the ganders at one of the lakes near me. He actually got mad at me once and bit me very hard! But, we became friends after that and I've found him to be very affectionate.

Here are pics of my trio from Metzer farms:

I absolutly LOVE my Africans!!!! Even tho he is a bit testy during breeding season. That always calls for a hug(with the head in the snake hold so he can't pinch me) when he tries to intimidate me. He loathes me even more after that but its fun!

Here are my 3 African geese. I got them unsexed from a feed store, so I had no idea what I was going to get. I ended up with 2 females and 1 male

(that made me very happy)

but they are pretty low quality
