Post Pics Of Orps/ Orpingtons HERE

I read the advice about putting a good splash roo over black to get good blues- can someone post a picture of a superior splash roo? I am not sure what good splash coloration should look like.
Thanks=

Kathy, those babies are beautiful - the one in the third picture is really eye catching -when DH gets back from FL with the camera, I will post some pics here for more comments now that the girls are older.

Here is a picture of my Bantam orp rooster, I think I will put him over one of my little black hens and see what I get! I'm not sure if he is superior but I think he is very nice looking.

His comb is a bit yucky in the pic as he got in a tift with another roo thru the fence ~ boys....

That is one pretty roo- I couldn't tell you if that is excellent splash coloration or not, I guess that is what I am trying to find out- I have seen lots of pics of splash, but don't know how much of the darker "splotches" ( for lack of vocabulary) are good-

I'd like to know too. I've seen so many variations of splash here, from virtually white to heavily speckled (for lack of a better word). I know what I personally like in the splash coloring, but I'd like to see what you're "supposed" to aim for.

Henthymes.....He's very handsome!

Thank you for the compliments. I don't know either if he has the correct amount of splash?? I just know that he is very well put together and his color compliments that nicely, IMO. His name is Tuffy, when he first arrived he thought he was the "giant on campus" and was willing to take on anyone, even a large Buff Rock rooster, lol!
