OH I love it !!!
Oh, my! he was a huge baby, who became a big handsome boy! Since I am going through raising baby Orps., for the fist time in my life, had no idea they would be such a large size at the very young age of 4 1/2 mos. I think we better get their grow-out run sooner than we thought we need it..
Awww! such a sweet comment; thank you!Need a like button for that photo.
Yes, he is a rooster. Very good idea to paint it, thank you for the idea! I love his sweet expression, and how puffed up to keep the babies safe and warm.LOL!!! Is that a rooster? ....that is funny...dad is helping out. It would be great subject for a painting ..or a greeting card.
Thank you! I am so happy that you like it! I wanted to put a smile on the face of the viewers.OH I love it !!!
Thank you! So nice and lucky that you did have the fortune of experiencing an adorable rooster like him. I wish I've had... If I had a rooster like him, I would make sure to never leave him without babies : )What a sweet Roo Daddy!!!I have had one that loved getting in the nest box with one of his girls repeatedly too...then he would stay sometimes on the egg even though the hen left for a drink etc...![]()
Thank you! Recently, I saw photos of Orps. from your bloodlines; simply stunning! These babies reminded me of your deep golden birds.Love this boy !
Thank you! The rooster and the photo belongs to a dear friend who lives in another country. She is not member of BYC., but, will certainly relate your suggestion.me 2!![]()

That is probably one of the most beautiful chicken pictures ive ever seen Lual!
That's what gets me most about the picture, all the little legs pushing to get under there. So adorable! What a great hallmark card that would make, especially those little legs toward bottom right pushing for all they are worth to get under there..rare event, such fun..
