At the moment I have to use a bathroom scale lol. There are better ones out there and somewhere someone posted links to good ones.

Try looking for a used Hansen's hanging milk scale. You can hang a sling, or a bucket, and weigh that way.At the moment I have to use a bathroom scale lol. There are better ones out there and somewhere someone posted links to good ones.
I kick myself quite often about that. I had an old baby scales I've had since my 38 year old was a baby. Guess what? I got rid of it 3 years ago. I kept that thing around for 35 years and just before I needed it, I got rid of it! LOL. Got a bid in on ebay for a postal scales. Goes to 86 lbs so I can use it for tons of different things.I use a baby scales it works pretty good.
Don, I agree. I never am concerned with to much weight but I did weigh mine before this show I am at today ca use they felt to light after the molt and they need some weight on them. One weighed a bit over 8 and the other two were a little less. I am used to around 10 for hens and I have had up to 12 lb. Probably not healthy at that sizeThanks Don. I was very curious about this. Very useful information.
