Nice looking birds!! Keep them safe!!!We just got our very first chickens! We got 4 buff Orps that are 6-9 months old. We got them on Craigslist. I don't know anything about their breeding. We got them for eggs and as pets. I don't know much about chicken type/confirmation. Can you guys let me know what you think of these girls.

They are named Lemon, Cricket, Popcorn & Twinkie. I don't know how to insert the actual pic into the thread yet.
10 weeks old? That's insane! She looks goooood! Here's a photo of a trio I shipped out this week. A 100% EBO and pullet, and a 50% EBO x SOP pullet on the right. Take a look at her, and then at my avatar. The pullert is 10 WEEKS old in this photo. She'll have fun at the shows next year.Just wait til she gets her tail. She will be very large too, with a better 5 pt comb than her mom's, thanks to Monty.
Nice looking baby's..wow, who ever received this trio is very fortunate! Here's a photo of a trio I shipped out this week. A 100% EBO and pullet, and a 50% EBO x SOP pullet on the right. LOL! No ya don't! I got mine!I use a baby scales it works pretty good.
I kick myself quite often about that. I had an old baby scales I've had since my 38 year old was a baby. Guess what? I got rid of it 3 years ago. I kept that thing around for 35 years and just before I needed it, I got rid of it! LOL. Got a bid in on ebay for a postal scales. Goes to 86 lbs so I can use it for tons of different things.
What's the link to the ebay listing? We may want to bid on it, too!
Agreed. You'll love them! They look really good for a backyard of great chickening. Enjoy them!We just got our very first chickens! We got 4 buff Orps that are 6-9 months old. Thanks Delisha and Zooweemama ! Yes, their new owner is quite happy with them, and I'm happy that they will be well taken care of , and shown. These birds are born with that great depth of keel. You can feel it in a newly hatched chick. It fills your hand. Lots more brothers and sisters here !Nice looking baby's..wow, who ever received this trio is very fortunate!
