Not everyone in AK has snow this time of the year.

We have a few icky patches in the shadows, but the rest has melted off. We've been up in the 40-50F range during the day now, which is perfect.

I've even started putting the 8 week old chicks out in the coop!

I will take new photos tomorrow... just hatched some of the prettiest babies...

Those are real snow Birds.

Wow, I went to bed and yall kept going..
Katy, the pellets don't have the dust. I am going to take a pic of my week old Charlies this morn before they move out of the house. they are so cute and fat.

Bill your babies have grown. I would have thought a little pit bull in that brown dog. Both are nice looking dogs.

Bus is in a pen with three girls. 2 Blacks and a Blue Splash. So, I am hatching as many as they give me. I wait a few days and then put in about 10 or so. Mostly depends on how full the bators are. And what others eggs are ahead in the hatchathon. I am no where near what you have Kathy. I MAY have near 80 right now that are under 2 months old.

It pays to coop in early at a show. Tonite I went to Columbus IN for a decent sized show (700 plus birds), and seen Doug had a pullet for sale when he put her into the sales cage. It was in the sales pen for at most 4 mins. And I paid the man and she is here at her new home. I am not a gambler, so I will wait the minimum of 2 weeks quarrentine before she gets to meet Tonka. See it is the little things in life that make me happy.

I am setting some Buff eggs tomorrow out of some Buffs I hatched last year from a really good line. I will get pics in the next week or so. I hatched 3 pullets and 1 cockerel. I have them farmed out to a nearby friend and wow is all I can say. I may show one of the girls at the Orp National next year. I might show her in Newnan in Feb too.
Bill now don't get jealous when I post the pics. Ha ha
