He looks like a Blue to me.
I have one who is similar but mine has a white beak. And julie said he was a Splash and that made sense to me. You don't have Blue Orpingons with White beaks
Here he is with a few young ones sharing his space till the last grow out pen is done

Mrs. AK-Bird-Brain, he looks like a lighter blue boy to me, though I'm very new to this breed so I could very well be wrong.

He's a hunk of a rooster though, that's for sure!

Light blue it is... thank you all. I've been riding the fence with him. He's got a ways to go, though... he's just under 6 months in that photo.

We won two eBay auctions on the same day.

One is for my daughter: SQ White Silkies from jmingione

And the other for me: LF Buff Orpingtons from hinkjc

They were both shipped the same day. One from Indiana and the other from Pennsylvania. We had a contest/poll to see who would arrive first. PA won by a day.

Now we are having a 21 day (hopefully) poll/contest on which will hatch first. These will be set today in a Genesis incubator. Which eggs will hatch first, hinkjc Buff Orpingtons from Pennsylvania or jmingione White Silkies from Indiana?
