Tracy we had a CM hen at one time from Ideal. I wish I had a pic of her. She was one of the kids favorites because she was just so sweet. She did lay a darker egg, but only a shade darker than my BR from Ideal. Our Welsummer from Ideal laid the darker speckled egg.

jeslewazer those Dorkings are beautiful! And your SS roo looks just like mine. Except for the hard molt he is in right now! Poor guy.

Here is my black Australorp cockerel. Isn't he a beaut.!?

I wormed the flock about two weeks ago. Noticed he's really had a growth spurt since then and his tail feathers are getting long and full. Such a pretty bird. I really need some girls to go with him!
