Took the chicks out on the yard today, its like 98* today ugh....so hot !!

when will I be able to tell genders apart??

depends on the breed....14-16 weeks... i think is normal...

Just got my order from Ideal yesterday and I am so pleased! Great, healthy, vigorous chicks with no losses.
My order was: 2 California Whites
2 Barred Rocks
2 Welsummers
2 Russian Orloffs
2 EE's
3 Surprise Specials ( got 1 Barred Rock, 1 Red Sexlink, 1 Black Sexlink)
and got 3 packing peanuts which I believe are Silver Spangled Hamburgs
