Post pics of your pets, BESIDES CHICKENS

I have a gerbil and a dog. We also 'own' a semi wild cat. Sweet boy but he just lives outside. Our hedgehog and guinea pig recently died.

How did it happen?
Very sad 😿...he was rescued from the Asian dog meat market and had been abused/mistreated and perhaps even tortured. He had a really bad flesh foot injury when he was rescued and they had to do a partial amputation. Then eventually a full amputation due to complications. He already had no leg when I adopted him 5 years ago.

Why do people DO THAT?!

That is just TERRIBLE!

It's very upsetting. But I liken it to some of the terrible conditions (''abuse") that animals raised for human consumption go through. Even here in the US. Humans can be so cruel and selfish. That's why I love this community so much, people that love and care about their animals/chickens.
Speaking of all that...I have been looking for ex-battery hens in Southern California to adopt but no luck so far.
