So I am a little confused???

Do some of you hatch in your incubator and others move the eggs day 17 to a hatcher??? HELP????

I planned on hatching in my homemade incubator....then moving them to the brooder once they dried out...

Thanks for some clarification in advance

well,,, trying not ta make the OP mad cause they only want pics,, not chit-chat,,,, but you dont STOP turning the eggs till the end of day 18.
and on my bator, i have a hatching tray on the bottom,, and move my eggs to it while the other eggs still get turned. but you dont have too,, if you have all ya eggs hatching at the same time , you just keep them in the bator, and they hatch out there, and after their dry, put them in the brooder.

Thank you the1much I was wondering that too. I havent hatched anything yet (still building my bator) but everytime I read a little more it sounds more confusing. I appreciate you answering!

did you use a hovabator sized wafer and element or a cabinet size wafer and element?

Sorry been busy working. I used a cabinet size wafer and element(which is a wire with leads that you wrap around ceramic holders and wire to wafer) Holds
temps. really steady. Based it on the sportsman 1202 that I lost. Could not afford to buy a new one so we built our own.
