Quick question for all of you "Southern US" Turkey folks!

The below photo is of my new pair of Bourbon Reds, and they prefer to be up on these rails outside of my barn at night rather than going in to a pen. Do you think they are safe here from Coyotes? Are they high enough and fast enough to escape?

are they 3 feet from the ground? a coyote will be happy to find them so low,and no the turkeys are not fast enough they will die,all mine roost in trees,force them to go into a closed pen,i have a pic of my turkeys in the trees i will send it to your,here is a pic of my silver auburn tom

The others are correct that coyotes could easily reach your turkeys on their current roost. On a different note, the turkeys in your photo are not Bourbon Red turkeys.
