Yeah, we had a warm streak last week that I think got them laying, poor birds, were supose to get 2-4 inches of snow tonight...

i hope she lays more,i use to have those very nice birds,now i'm raising silver auburn turkeys,i think i am the only one in louisiana that has any

How often do they usually lay? Im new at raising turkeys. I have chickens and they lay just about every day.

My Narragansett hens last year laid about 5 a week during the peak of laying season, about 40 each over the season. They were young hens and were in their first year of lay.

i have some silver auburn hens,they started in march,the bourbon red hens started january 15,i was supprise on that one,first time raising bourbon turkeys,the eggs on the bourbon are white with brown dots,the silver auburn lay pink eggs with brown dots,thought all eggs was the same color,go figure,send u a pic

My hens seem to lay about 5-6 a week for about 8-10 weeks. About 45-60 eggs per hen.
