I have 4 hatchery Barred Rocks that are 5 weeks old. They are supposed to be sexed. The spots on the heads were a mixed bag, but their legs appeared to have the dark wash.

One of the buffs turned out to be a cockerel. None of the rocks are obvious like him.

Long time reader, first post! We just inherited these chickens out of the blue. There's 9 of them... around 3-4 months old, supposedly all pullets. I don't see anyone with very defined wattles... not sure if they are all the same type or a mix.

If you need more pictures of a specific one, I'll do my best, haha.

Any help with identifying breed or confirming sex would be great!

I don't keep BOs but that does look like a rooster to me. Or maybe she is just top of the pecking order and is a "tomboy" chicken?
