Girls.

Long time reader, first post! We just inherited these chickens out of the blue. There's 9 of them... around 3-4 months old, supposedly all poulets. I don't see anyone with very defined wattles... not sure if they are all the same type or a mix.

If you need more pictures of a specific one, I'll do my best, haha.

Any help with identifying breed or confirming sex would be great!

I don't keep BOs but that does look like a rooster to me. Or maybe she is just top of the pecking order and is a "tomboy" chicken?

I don't know, but we'll find out in 2 months.

It looks like you got 4 Rhode Island Reds (the darker ones with black in tails) and 4 red sex links. They look to be all pullets, but I'm a first time chicken person too.

Welcome to BYC, RubenQ! Glad you decided to come out of hiding!

They all look like pullets to me! They're beautiful! I think the brown ones are Rhode Island Reds (RIRs), but I'm not sure about the lighter colored ones. Maybe some sort of hybrid?

I'll have chicks hatching soon, I may pop back here if I don't know their sex by 6 weeks.

6.5 week old EE’s.
Sam I’m certain must be a Rooster. Genevieve I’m almost certain is a hen.
Robbie has been delayed in development so I’m not sure but thinking hen.
Gwennie and Liz I pray are hens.
