Post pictures of peafowl!

He does have some beautiful copper colors in his tail, but no eyes. There are some random odd shaped whitish splotches there. His white on the wings is like broad white v's on the feathers, very even over the wings. His head and neck isn't royal blue, it has more of a greenish tint, like a dark aqua. Be interesting to see how he does over the next year, and even if he isn't BS, I really love him! Got a pied at the same time, mostly white with a few gray and brown spots. I think that one is a hen, the spots on the neck have very little green and it doesn't have spurs, the other is developing spurs. They are just neat!

My wee "Pork-chop". Some day, oh someday we shall have a train.....

So true. My three males, the first three pics I posted earlier, were all hatched on July 4th - a year and half ago. The black shoulder has a long beautiful train with lots of eyes, the spalding has a short one with no eyes, and the opal hasn't much of anything. In fact, all six of my peas, hatched on July 4th and each one has different stages of development/color/personality going on.

most of mine are still young and dont have full tails yet, some are 3-4 though, anyway here's a few pics of them. Will add more of the greens as they mature, have javas and imperators.

Looks like your place is really nice, am jealous! lol Nice open looking pens too. Love the BS opals, of course.

Have to question that one being an actual Midnight though.. too much blue in neck?

Pistol has spring fever, he displays at my booties, the broom and my lil D'Uccle housechicken.

He found the hibiscus plant this week, oh what joy!

He was REALLY getting into that dust bath til I started taking pictures, which annoyed him no end....and look how PROUD he is of the mess he made!

Pardon the quality, the sun was shining in the window and creating a lot of glare...
