That colorful metal guy out front is the only rooster I'll ever have. ::sigh::
You can't particularly see them in these pix but my compost piles are just beyond the coop so it's an easy dump over the fence when I clean out the coop.

Here’s my set up. The initial coop was a converted roofed dog house and run, then I added a run under the trees and the a pvc roofed area for a covered straw yard , the also range when I a, in the garden, not as inventive or as pretty as some of the beautiful ones in the states and Canada, but it works. I may paint it though
I have seen your coop before
We don't own tools which is why we hired someone. Anyway, finished the henhouse, the paint, wire and all just shy of a week. The henhouse is 6'x4' and has 3 nesting boxes and a natural branch roosting bar that's 6' long. The entire run is 6'x12'.
