I am trying to figure out what to do for a chicken run with my new coop. I was thinking of buying a dog run and putting the coop in that and adding a roof to the run. But after measuring my coop I think it would take up most of the run. So I was thinking having the coop on the outside, with a door into the run, still adding a roof on the run. It seams kind of complicated though. It is a chain link dog run. Will chain link keep coons, skunks, and foxes out? Or can they chew through that too? Here is a link to Home Depot for the run I was thinking of. If you look at the reviews there is someone who turned it into a chicken run (with a picture). We're finally 99% finished! At least all trimmed out and painted. We also put in a hand rinsing station so I don't have to wash in my kitchen sink.

Still building ours. 30 hours into it as of now. Another few weeks and should be done including the run.
