post your chicken coop pictures here!

It's finally raining but it's raining so hard it's not even soaking into the ground. The drive way looks like a river and it seriously just started 5 minutes ago.

And we got my cousins coop for free it's a 4x8 the same size as mine, and I stuck it at one end of the chicken run, then my coop will go at the other end of the run and they can go in either one they want so I don think I will be building a coop now. So most of everything is moved over to the other side of the yard wish us luck wi moving the other coop I don't know how easy that will be first though we have to cut the legs down on it about a foot, put some 4x4s on the bottom of the legs and drag it up on the trailer.

In case anyone is wondering what size "Chicken" door you need for very large turkeys, I just replaced mine with a 12 x 22.5 inch inside dimension and the toms run right through it now. I noticed they were staying in the coop and only the hen was getting out and they are only half grown so i decided, since the door goes to the enclosed run, id make it big enough for the turkeys to move through comfortably. Ill get some pics later.

I'm so happy you solved your overcrowding issue! You must be so relieved.

Posting a little update to my hen house build I have been busy with work and company so I haven't gotten much done. I finished most of the rafters but I am rebuilding some completed work that I decided to do different. I will post some new pictures. The girls inspected the work and seem to approve.

Just completed (ok... late spring/early summer..), my chicken coop and run... Here's a video of it as I felt just posting pics wouldn't answer some questions from some of you. I welcome any feedback and comments!!

Yes but one of those coops are going to need to have a built in breeding pen for the silkies. And have a small section of run sectioned off for them. But so far everything is going good I just sold three dozen of eggs already today, but still need to get both of the coops painted and one still needs moved tin needs on the pen, and what ever paint is left over I will paint the rusted put spots on the bottom of the chickens dog kennel run.

This looks great. Good job! Kept it simple in some ways but very innovative in others. Kudos!
