Ok Im confused, Im trying to post pictures and it does not seem to be working. I copied and pasted the IMG code to post pictures but it doesnt seem to be working

This site doesn't work that way. I guess they don't have UBB code turned on, or at least it's different than any other site I've ever seen. You have to click the Insert Image icon and do it that way.

Hope you were able to get some great ideas. I checked out some chicken coop books at the library and looked at some vidoes on youtube before we started building. Any advance planning that you do,will save you time on construction. Post some pics when you get started. They're chickens, you can't go wrong. Just about anything will do as long as you provide food, water, and some form of shelter and protection.

Love the coop, BUT REALLY LOVE THE DOGS! They are beautiful....

Mine is 12X18 (I think, Father-in-law and fiance are carpenters. They just put this together.) The last picture of the inside of the coop show the roost and nest boxes, also the screen door is to a screened room that is 6ft wide and 12 ft long.

here's our coop, this time we went with a cheap, quick and easy set, 7x7 storage sheed was $450 at homedepot with a lowes 10% off coupon, the run we found on craigs list, for $200 with top, total set up time was less than a day.

I like this coop!!! I am currenty looking for a storage shed and a dog kennel like this for quail.

You guys rock, I love everyone's coops.

Here is my coop, it's really not much to look at. My husband and I build it and at first I thought he was nuts. But it actually worked out pretty good.
This is my desert coop. I spend most days thinking of ways to make it better and do little improvement when I get the cash. Still needs touch ups.

This last picture was before I built and installed a large perch for my birds. My perch went over my sliding board. I went with the moving board so that I could actually clean the nest boxes easier. I guess some people are probably thinking that I'm nuts, but this is working great for us. This spring I will try to put in some kind of sprinker system, grass, and a tree.
