Had to post this...this is my first egg, and my girls are not even outside yet...lol
it is next to a 'store bought egg' for size comparison.

Congrats. I can't wait to get my first eggs either but I have a long time to wait still as my babies will just be turning 1 week old tomorrow. I already love them to pieces and cant wait to get to watch them scratch around in the yard like they do in their brooder.

This my coop so far. Built out of recycled lumber and Few leftover. Scraps. I'll post more and better pics later
