post your chicken coop pictures here!

Here's mine! Still not quite finished, but livable!

Aaaw come on guys and gals .. I am sure they would enjoy the variety of cooking shows available; as long as chicken is not the main ingredient.

Or they could cheer along their favourite teams on the Sports Channel, the Helsinki Roosters or Des Moines Roosters.

And then there is the Market Channel where they can keep track of the highs and lows in the egg-trade.

Sorry, in a silly mood

I will stop now :)

Not sure about TV but my chickens like the radio. When we leave the house we leave the radio on a talk show for any invalid hen we might have recuperating in the pen so she won't feel alone. Chickens seem to like hearing human voices or some like music. If you put a radio at their level they push to get to the speaker and listen. Darnedest thing!

Our first coop. We used all recycled material. Its covered with welded wire and chicken wire. We have a skirt of hardware cloth covered with rock so nothing can did under. We placed it so its in a spot that gets shade about 90% of the day. The girls seem to like it so far! We still have some things to do. Like automatic feeder and waterer. I'm going to plant some herbs for chickens in the cinder blocks. Thanks for looking. We are not carpenters so its not a chicken mansion but we only spent like $80-$100 on it.
I like the double wiring for security. Be aware that whatever you plant for the chickens will also attract rodents close to the coop. You may want some rodent repelling plants that are still safe around the cute chicks you have!

The color makes ours what it is

Funny but I had the same thought about the ramp and if the paint makes it slippery. Chickens love sure-footing and some painted steps are slippery if sand isn't added to the paint.

Beautiful blue colors!

My bet is.....that ramp is just fine when it's installed under the pop door to the right....it's just stored where it's shown in the pic.

Oh, okay. I thought your pop door was an egg collection door. Some chickeneers have doors to access their nestboxes and that's what I assumed. Love the blues you chose on the coop.
