Yes I have a 4x8 coop with a run that is about 30 feet long made of two dog kennels and connected them together and attached the end to panels to the coop

But it's pretty heavy and the wind has been blowing so hard lately it is almost off the blocks it sets on so I stuck another block nest to the leg of it so it wouldn't fall and stuck a stack tight up against the front leg and put a 4x4 sloped to hold the stake up against the leg to help it from sliding so i am hoping it don't topple over because it has only been built for about 3 months now

Yeah. I've got a second smaller one that will be my baby coop and then I will combine them.

O and it can't be a really big run because I would like to take my breeding pen all over the yard and stuff so they have good green grass year round but in the winter it will be inside the other chickens run under the tin out of the snow

I know right. If all goes well these little darlings will be moved to a nusery coop with a nice 5'x10'x6' tall run this next week. I just need to cull those roosters, replace that chicken wire with hardware cloth and build a baby coop. IF THE HUSBAND GETS MOVING!

I'll end up doing it myself.

You might as well get started now. I remember the saga of your hubby building the new coop many months ago.

I've already got the wood and pen set up. Just have to build. I remember all to well my epic fight with Mr. Procrastination.

Yes u go u want some thing done or done right u have to do it ur self all though I do most of my stuff my self just me and my dog some knows to come and help when my moms side of e family anger kicks in and I I start ripping things apart and growing things and mostly cursing and swearing at it to so ya after I hear myself it's funny

well this time I'm not waiting around. I've got a few birds to process, an old broken down coop to take apart and then I'll build my baby coop.

Just use the scraps from the old one what ever u can use that's not all rotten or not to bad
