post your chicken coop pictures here!

O know I wouldn't take them to a kill shelter I don't believe kill shelters they are cruel I feed them because they have no home and as long as they keep the snakes away they are more than welcome to stay

Just curious as to why you believe it is OK for these strays to kill all manner of local wildlife; birds, rabbits, squirrels, snakes, ect. when they are NOT doing it for food (you stated you are feeding them), and yet you would take them to a kill shelter if they hurt "your" cats? I just don't understand the "logic" behind that at all. sorry.

I think you misread it because of the spellimg/grammar made it a little hard to decipher. They were saying other people overreact and take them to be killed jist cause they scratched someone or hunted and they don't believe in that. They were disagreeing with you just killing cats which i also disagree with. I don't necessarily think cats should be destroying wildlife or that cats lives are more important but I do think it's kinda mean to just kill them for doing what comes naturally to them. It's the humans responsible for allowing them to hunt or for dumping them into the wild, not the cats fault. I would try to find the cat a home instead of just killing

I wasn't meaning I would take them to a kill shelter just to clear all of that up

Honestly if I could catch them I would try and find them all good homes were they wouldn't end up being killed or put down

I would maybe try to get some traps with some really good food and try to cstch them! Or befriend them and pick them up or do they not let you ?

The closest u can get to them is about 20 feet but they have been going under my neighbors shed to get out of the rain and stuff for about a 1 year now we could never catch them there is one that I want to keep if I can catch her we have some traps but my dad would never let us set them to catch them because he knows we would name them and they would be at our house til they die of old age

Try setting up a funnel trap. Get some bird netting and pvc pipe and make it wide enough that once the birds start going into it you can draw it closed. Then rope off the porch where they run and gently herd them towards the trap. Bait it with feed and grain. (I'm assuming we are talking birds

) and use fish netting to grab any strays.

Awww that stinks :( maybe promise you'll rehome them?

If I could I would I couldn't get close enough to do it but I hate it when people gets a cot or something and it gets hit on the road and they don't go scrap it of the road and bury it that just says it all about how much they really cared about there pet
