I'm not sure however they finally did. I would have to do some research however I think I'm now legally allowed to collect and keep up to 100 gallons.How did they ever get past the ancient water rights laws???? I'm sure glad people in CO can now capture the water that lands on their roof.
On April 1, the Senate passed H.B. 1005 in a 27-6 vote. The bill permits Coloradans to use no more than two rain barrels collecting a maximum of 110 gallons of rainwater. Even though it was passed in April the law didn't take effect till this month.
