They seen me with my phone I told them they weren't pecking at my 600 dollar phone, they didn't listen though I geuss they thought I was going to give in! :lau both coops are 4x8 foot, and they grey coop is the only one with nesting boxes I would like to put a chicken moat between the two so they arnt confined between coops.

I know my coop doesn't look as fancy or beautiful like the rest of your coops but it's protected my chickens for more than three years so I think it deserves some recognition

If your chickens haven't been taken by predators by now than you better believe it's worth recognition! In your rural setting I can't believe you haven't had, at the least, stray dogs try to dig to the hens? We live in a city and 2 stray mutts broke our yard gate and mangled the cheap poultry chicken wire on our old little coop beyond repair but they couldn't dig under the paver stone foundation. A good neighbor chased off the mutts!

Took us 5 years but we finally got a sturdier mobile Barn Coop, this time with heavy dog kennel wire:

I have fence under the dirt of my run floor so dogs and coons can dig all they want but they won't get in

Not everyone can afford to make or buy enough welded wire to make a sufficient run. Or a nice coop. I did the best I could. Now I'm sorry I posted in this thread.
Thanks to those who posted supportively. I appreciate the warning but the way it was stated made me feel foolish for being proud of my crappy coop.
I also do the best with what I have. Be proud of what you have done, and improve when and how you can. But enjoy the chickens. We all can't afford the Ritz, but that doesn't mean we don't stop enjoying what we have. Keep up the good work we all enjoy other peoplestuff.
