Finally working on the coop again LOL putting in windows today

Oh we have a coop already but it's just a little coop kit from Tractor Supply, probably 3x3, and in a 6x12 dog kennel, it's way too small, so we're building a new one. we started in like March, worked on it then stopped then started then stopped again lol but yeah. The new one is 4x8. We've only had them a year now

That's very true! I'm sure we'll probably keep it and use it for something. Though tbh we mostly just got it because they had outgrown their brooder and needed something fast, my parents idea not mine, lol they started going in it during the day around 5 weeks and outside permanently at 7 once we put the dog kennel around it as I didn't trust it by itself. It was fine as babies but they have definitely outgrown it now that they're a year old, we have 8 chickens. But that said, you're right that it will probably be useful for something eventually and we paid for it so we'll probably keep it
