Coming along nicely! Make sure you post lots of inside pics and info. of inside when you're done! Building is very time consuming isn't it?

My hubby built this last summer. I will be planting shrubs, flowers, and flower boxes this spring

removable windows- replace with chicken wire windows in warmer weather



6 nest boxes. Removable plywood wall in center of coop. Currently divided- one side for the chicks, other side for the ladies & rooster



One large door on either end of coop. Two small doors/hatches for the birds






Hanging food and water
Trees as roosts

I have 4 days into it so far. Plus demo of a deck and cleaning up my yard. Tomorrow roof done. close in the rest of building and start closing up soffits and try to figure out what I am going to do for siding!

Some of these builds crack me up. I mean drywall painted walls with trim\molding Inside. COME ON!

I've got a re-purposed playhouse. It's pretty fancy on the outside! I guess it's all about what you have and we've stated our rural life from the city with nothin'. We're getting better at scavenging and collecting junk. My next project will be pretty junky compared to the hen house!
