I am in Indy. Have had these since 2010. Made them on my own. They are inherent in my White Orp line. Recessive White covers all. My line had the Belgium Buffs in them. So, IF you have Euro lines these would work.

That is a beautiful Orpington my goodness. I love Orpingtons but so far haven't gotten around to getting any yet. Do you ever sell dun/khaki Delaware chicks or eggs? If you have them in Delaware?

Last time I intentionally made some was for Jeremy S 4 or 5 years ago. who had a color project, so I shipped him this pullet. Has a pullet from her before she passed. It wasn't a good shipping experience. I feared loosing her as the Airport delayed notifying me that it would take an extra 2 days for her to get to CA.

It wasn't a good shipping experience. I feared loosing her as the Airport delayed notifying me that it would take an extra 2 days for her to get to CA.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do. A color project with Delaware and Ameraucana. Overnighting eggs might be the best possible thing. The shipping has been madness this year so I can only imagine how scary the shipping must have been for a pullet and then not being notified of 2 extra days. Terrible.

I think I wound up paying $150 for everything including the box (lost money). Eggs if the jet goes too high will pop the egg's air sack. I find it is just better if you want them you come and get them.

I never thought about that. Popping the air sacs. Not too sure what my husband would think about doing a road trip to Indiana. That will be a long conversation.

There is people who travel to these shows who go out of their way to pick up livestock for money and transport them to these shows. IF you are not already a member of the APA, this would be the time to join and look up who does that.

I'm not a member but that is an awesome service and I would totally pay for it if I can't either ship or drive. Well depending on how much it costs if I can't find any closer.
