Hi there! New member here!

Im working on Dun, Khaki, and Platinum line Olive Eggers on the west coast! Im hoping to find some other breeders in the US that I could bounce questions back and forth with.

My current question is, I had crossed two platinums last spring and created what i thought were khaki splash birds. I gave one to my friend because she didn't lay olive as I planned. That hen was bred to a cemani (black) rooster, and produced a platinum and a blue. So Im guessing a more appropriate name for them would be a platinum splash since khaki implies it cant produce blue...am I correct? I know these colors are worked with very little, so theres not alot of info online about them.

Ill post pics of the hens and rooster that I kept.

They are gorgeous birds!

@Amer Was a big help to me when I got what I at first thought were blue chicks. It turned out that my "porcelain" rooster was actually dun.

Thank you! Yes Porcelain has lavender, these birds dont carry any lavender in them. Just dun and blue. Ive been having so much fun playing with the Dun colors!
