[/IMG]I'm trying this out for the first time…. And I can't see how this continous turning of the eggs can hurt…. Looking for thoughts… .my thoughts are how the eggs sit in the nest and some hens turn their eggs 90 times a day

This is a rotisserie motor turning the rack 360 degrees @ 1rpm just like a bbq… the cartons are strapped to rack… and the eggs are packed with a little cotton. So the don't move around

I guess you won't know to you try. It looks like you are slowly, but constantly turning the eggs end over end, I think this could cause malpositioned chicks in the later stages of incubation. Let us know how your idea works.

This is my turner it turns a single tray but is prototype for my soon to be built cabinet bator in its first run it turned 28 turkey eggs for 25 days no troubles it turns every 1.5 hours to mitigate hot and cold spots I made arms out of aluminum but could be made of wood or sheet metal and wood. The electric parts 1 relay $5 timer $8 DC 5rpm motor $10 and two micro switches $15. This turner moves slow and steady no fast and slow sides easy to adjust angles and time of delay on each side. Power supply is a 12 volt changer I found around the house.

No Daniel my Rotisserie turner did not work… nothing hatched… I have bought a regular egg turner since…. And that has been working… I'm actually waiting for a friend to bring over another turner… so we can do 82 eggs at once…
