I also get Kalmbach Feed. I think it's $11.25/50 lbs for 22% at a local feed store in northern Ohio. I beleive TSC has Dumar 20% for $14 or so. I'm sure that this fall when I do a bigger batch they will cut me a better deal.

Broiler mash from our feed mill - 100# for $19
Flock Raiser from feed store - 50# for $14

What do you store it in? It doesn't go bad?

I don't have a picture of mine (for some reason) but it's like this: http://www.choretimepoultry.com/product_images/FeedBinctbin_clr_boot_size600.jpg

I
don't have the auger going into the barn, I just made a large valve on the bottom that I use to fill a bucket.

This time of the year, I go through 1/2 ton a month feeding broilers and my laying hens. I really cut back on my hens this last winter, so I may have to have them bag it for me after processing time is done. I was told to never keep more than 1-2 months worth in my bin. It will lose nutrients and may spoil depending on the moisture content of the feed.

Bulk broiler ration 18% 7.35 for 50 lbs. I buy 1/2 ton at a time. Local feed mill in my home town
Layer pellets Purina 12.50 for 50lbs . local feed store were I work.

River Rats, what feed mill? $9????

mine here in WI at my locall feed mill is
Layer ??% $12.15 ish
broiler 23% about the same
and chick starter 20% about the same

I'm gonna call the feed stores in the surrounding towns.
I got 25 chicks coming this weekend, gonna go through a lot more that I was feeding just 9 of the little buggers.
Great to see all the info everyone, Thanks!!

Starter and grower runs me about $15 for 50lb bags.

I have switched over to fresh ground from a local grower:
http://pasturedsensations.com/aboutfeed.html

Which runs me $350 for 1,000lbs. This is enough to finish 50 rangers at 11-12 weeks, with some leftovers likely.

I have also tried a local whole grain layer that is $27 bag +tax +delivery, but I am probably not going to buy again because the pastured sensations guy can do layer for me much cheaper.
