Post your FIRST EGG pics!

I had a pretty little pale green egg today, so one of the Ameracaunas has started to lay!

I collected 8 eggs today in total. 1 from the black sex link, 1 from the Ameracauna, 1 from the white leghorn, 3 from the three older Barred Rocks, and one each from the Production reds. So only one of the Ameracaunas and my youngest Barred Rock have yet to lay.

I'm so happy I got my first EE egg today. I just got them last night at a sale and didn't expect to get one this fast so its pretty awesome.

Our "Miss Priss" laid her 1st egg and is the 1st one of the six ladies to lay an egg so far.

My first double yoke, I think my cochin Tweetie laid this one, it was a JUMBO egg when most were medium sized. When I cracked it open it had a double yoke which explains it's size I guess. My wife exclaimed "IT"'S TWINS!!"

Not my first egg just the first double yoke ... mmm mmm good

This is my first one from a 3 year old hen...I think they are about done laying, but I was excited anyway! We bought them at a swap meet 2 weeks ago, and this was laid about a week after bringing them home.
