All 8 of my girls have finally layed 1 each! my son found them all today, he called me all eggcited *teehee* we will be having BREAKFAST!!!!! I will take a pic when I get home from work!

I am guessing they all laid one, unless one laid 8! OUCH! but yes! I checked in the mourning when I put out thier food, and there was nothing, my son went out after I went to work and found them but he broke one

I got my first eggs.. Im so eggsited hehe.. Ive called everyone I can think to call.. They probably think ive got crazy lol...

Our first egg came on Friday...from the chicken we had guessed would be last, shows what we know! Sadly, that first egg rolled off the counter...yikes! But here's our second, and DH will be more careful next time!

I don't have a pic, but I got my very first WHITE egg today, meaning that Zoe, my White Leghorn, has started laying!

She's my only white egg layer, and she is twenty weeks old TODAY.

I have had eggs from the adults that I have purchased however 3 of the EE's and 1 of the buffs I have raised from day old chicks have given me an easter present last evening 19 1/2 weeks yeah chickies.

Well a few of my 11 ladies gave me my first eggs. I hadnt been to the coop in a day and today there were 6 eggs . They came in from Ideal on 10/24/2007
