I just got my first 8 hens and after traveling 25 miles in a dog carrier I figured they would be so stressed I wouldnt get eggs the next day but i got these 2 i very large and ! small. I was so excited

The big one is our wyandotte's first egg. She still lays really big eggs but none as big that first one.

I'm a proud mum of 3 16 week old Isa browns and am so in love with them! I know it must be love when I'm sitting here at half past midnigh in Australia, just about jumping out of my skin looking at YOUR first eggs.

I cant wait for mine!!!

I used to spend hours on ebay looking for designer clothes. Now i'm either ebaying chicken things or sitting on backyardchickens.com..Oi!

Got my first egg FINALLY!! Ella laid her first egg on Tuesday 27th May and has laid an egg every day since. She has inspired 1 of our other chickens to lay as well. Bella laid her first egg on Sunday 1st June. I think the other 3 are interested in what's going on and they won't be far behind. I've been trying to upload the photos but they won't go. They are JPG but still I can't get them on the forum. Never mind................I GOT EGGS!!

This is my 3 year old grand daughter Hannah Marie . She is learning the chicken world . She is offically our egg collector . LOL

These 2 eggs were laid by our old english game hen. She is 22 weeks old .
