The middle egg is our first from our cuckoo Marans and the brown one is from our RIR and the white is a Jumbo Egg white From Wal-Mart.

.They were 19 weeks and 3 days old...Found the first on top of the roost...I was so happy...

they will, i was feeling like that about my 19 1/2 weekers and then had someone say if they lay a little later less likely to have problems,,it like Christmas when they do though......

I thought my hens would be slow to lay because of the heat, but I just got my first six eggs right on time (20 weeks)!

Loving the new egg pics! now i see what everyone means by the excitement of that first egg! We found our first (two!) yesterday early pm, they werent warm anymore, so my guess is they are laying late morning? will probably be checking every hour on the hour today ! lol
