This bresse pullet has has laid an egg 5 days in a row now, teeny tiny little bantam sized eggs, but she's quite the layer. Pretty good for a duel purpose breed. Hopefully the eggs will get larger as time goes by.

Finally our first egg, not sure who laid it either my Golden Star (Carmel) or my Barred Rock (Ms. Hattie) both started squatting earlier this week, they're 21 weeks old. So excited!! I think it's a Beautiful egg
It was however on the coop floor. I actually think it was laid last night when they went to bed, hubby said he heard the girls making a bunch of noise, hopefully they'll figure out how to get them in the nest
