I just got my first egg from a BR pullet, 25 weeks seems like forever to wait!

Our EE is way ahead of our 2 dominiques, with what we have invested in the coop & run, feed ect. these three eggs should be worth about $125 each

Ok so..I now have three of my girls laying...

Today, Bacon laid her very first egg (I thought she was too young, but then I don't really know!) and she is my very first EE, green egg!

Then here in the box is Mrs. Feather's first egg

(RIR) from yesterday and Banana's from yesterday

(very large egg - Buff Orpington - she started to lay last Wednesday).

so i went outside to put the chickens inside their house...and low and behold, as i opened the door to their nesting area i found...
MY 1ST TWO EGGS!!!
i'm so stoked...can't wait to make some soft-boiled eggs and whole grain toast
(yeah I realize they're kinda small...but i'm still proud of my girl)

I found this this morning!!!!!! Woo Hoo I didn't think they would lay in the winter!!! So this is my first silkie egg!
