WooHoo! My 21 week old EE laid her first egg today after many days of practice and hours in the nesting boxes, she had an accident and laid it in the grass by the outside water pool! LOL! Silly girl! BUT I got a green egg!!!!
Ok, Hursthens - is your 21-week old EE can lay an egg, then surely my 21-week old EEs can lay an egg. I think I'll go read your post to them. They are in no hurry whatsoever! Even my New Hampshire Red - which is supposed to mature early - hasn't laid an egg yet.

They are 9 months old. They laid these at the beginning of the year, but I took pics. I had one of my EE pullets lay her first egg today though. It was about the color of the lighter one in the picture, she is 4 & 1.2 months old.
