Delaware and Rhode Island , 24 weeks young, and Ameraucana 23 weeks young.

July 24, 2011 @ 8:00 am PDT I got my first brown egg. It was on the floor of the chicken coop, not the nesting box. Unsure if it was the Delaware or the Rhode Island. I am thinking that it was the Delaware.

Look at the bottom right corner for the redish/brown egg. Just in front of the bricks.

At 16:00 PDT, I got another brown egg which was in the nesting box. Woohoo!

I created a page to document my first egg experience.

Not my first egg, but my first BLUE egg, ever! My three EE girls are 18 weeks. The first blue egg showed up on Friday and the second showed up yesterday. Here they are with some of the other pullet eggs and those of my older hens.

First egg! I'm so surprised and happy. They are 20 weeks plus 5 days. I went out to turn the nesting box around so they wouldn't sleep in it and there it was. Light brown and beautiful.

Got my first egg today from my BR 16 weeks 5 days old. The egg on the right is today's and the egg on the left was yesterday from my other BR.
