Our first eggs from 17 1/2 week old production reds from TSC

This is rosa's first egg. The first egg ive ever seen come from one of my chickens has long since been converted into food and eaten.

My GSL came though on the exact date I predicted!

On 8-11 my Lt Brahma laid her first egg! It was perfect.. and TINY. after a few more days of finding a few soft-shelled and no-shelled eggs laying here and there, yesterday, I got another perfect little egg. And today, I think my Buff Orpington laid her first egg, it was
a little bigger. They are both 21 weeks old. I have a few more weeks before anyone else is even near ready... I want some blue eggs now

We got our first egg today. We've been checking the bushes for the last 2 weeks. They were good enough to lay the first one in the coop.

YAY! Oregano laid her first egg this morning! I heard her singing and went out to the coop:

The larger egg is Drumstick's - she's somewhere around 3 years old and only lays 2-3 eggs a week now.
