My EE Penelope laid her first egg yesterday... It's so gorgeous! Here it is with my NHR Duchess' egg...

And she did another today. I'm digging the blue-green....

It looks sooo much like a rooster!!

I have a Coronation rooster that has the body of a hen, but the head of a rooster. The man I bought them from didn't even know it was a rooster!!

I don't think she looks like a rooster at all !!!!!!!!!!!Noi pointy saddle or neck feathers barely any comb, and the wrong color for roo's

Yeaaaaaaahhhhh!

Finally at 20 weeks I got my first egg - I suspect it is from Joy, the Delaware that I thought was a rooster

even better, it was in the nest box next to the fake "egg", just like it is supposed to be!

TWO eggs this morning...that means we are still waiting on just one of the girls! Can't wait to start collecting 3 a day!
We are saving them up for this saturdays breakfast - eating "our" first eggs. Can't Wait!!!
