Here's the 1st one our EE laid, along with the brown RIR eggs. The EE was dumped on me by a neighbor, so at least the pretty eggs are making up for it. "Hawk" as I call her is now 8 months and just started.

Yeppers, it sure was! We were floored, but I guess it's not that unusual for young hens in their early laying. I still prefer to think we have a superstar!

We knew it would be any day because our BO has the red waddles and comb and has been squatting for almost 2 weeks.
We were so excited...kind of makes us feel like "grandparents" or something! It is so cute and tiny.

FINALY i get to post on here.
After many, many months my owner got her first egg! She was very excited and was very proud of me. She even gave me my very own time out of the run and in the yard and the compost piles and gave me some carrot peelings. She was very grateful. my name is victorious. and this is my prized possesion.
