Wow! Victoria is 20 weeks old and laying. Currently, her eggs aren't as dark as I'd like to see them as, but I have heard rumors that they'll get darker as time goes on? Not so sure about that, but ok.
My other BCM, Phoebe, who is the same age as Victoria, hasn't started laying yet either.

Callie has been chatting up a storm and running in & out of the coop and nesting boxes for almost 2 weeks now! She’s got to lay an egg any day now! Super excited to see how dark the color will be. I heard that it can get darker. The eggs also supposedly are darkest at the beginning of the season then lighten up as it goes on.

Cool! That's a common behavior for a Maran before she starts laying. They seem to have bad laying anxiety.
