I still have to but eggs right now, but 4 of the hens started laying again!

My oldest are almost 4. The one I mentioned stopped laying at 15 months old, she’s definitely a Diva!

Do you know why she stops laying. I have a hen that stop laying at less than a year old, small tummy, eat a lot, fly at time, all look good, but no egg.

Nope, never figured it out she just stopped. Laid nearly every day from 5 months to 15 months then went on strike She is probably overweight, so that may be part of the issue.

It is a mystery indeed. I often check her tummy to make sure that it is not swollen. She jumps into the nest box every day, and all day searching for a pleasing nestbox, but no egg comes out of her. So long there is no sign of ill health I take that.
