This morning at the grow-out coop. I usually see the predators on the camera at night. There is a pop door on both sides of the coop so there is a pen/run on the other side of the coop that isn't seen in the video.

Oh my! I so wanted to see him get zapped by the electric fence!

Not so much this time of year but usually in the spring I hear a predator that isn't aware of the electric wire get zapped. I have the electric wire around all of my coops and pens.

I have never seen a deer on my cameras but our property is mostly open pasture. One early morning I saw a couple of deer crossing our road where there are some trees and the next early morning I saw a couple of coyotes cross in the same place. There is a pine stand behind us but not any growth under the trees so I can see through the trees. I see most of the predators at night on the cameras.

Nothing on the pasture cam, though I see deer, including a fairly young buck, with my own eyes quite a bit. I caught a regular visitor chomping my rhododendrons very close the house yesterday, said, "Bad girl!" to myself, but I didn't stop her because they are so tall, she can't really hurt those by eating at her level. I checked the driveway cam, lots of our vehicles, us going to get the mail, our cat. I grabbed these two pics from that one, nothing exciting, though. I think this is the same doe who was eating the rhodies, but can't be sure. One is almost friendly, must be very used to seeing us. This camera is close to the house, pointed across the turnaround right behind our SUVs, really more to catch vehicles that shouldn't be here than actual animals. I liked the closeup.

This is the cool stuff to me captured with game camera. Birds responding to owl. When I hear the muffled alarm calls, I go looking to run off owl.
