Busy night, and the big predators came out to play. I hope there hasn’t been a barn break-in. Guess I’ll see in a couple of hours! The bear visits twice a year and, up to this point, has never caused issues. The bobcat, Roberta B. Cat, ate one of my ducks, Puddleduck, last summer.

The bear was right by the house. Roberta B. was right by the barn, of course.

Forgive the weird tracking in the bear video. That particular camera thinks that it’s fancy and can automatically track and zoom. It tries!

Also, my neighbor’s sweet black cat was seen on cam around the same time as the bear, but in the area where Roberta B. Cat prowled later on. Hope he’s ok.

I haven't downloaded my cameras much lately. The compact Apeman camera had, gulp, over 8100 pics on it, mostly of the blowing grass that got taller and taller by the day. I selected a few from that one and a couple from the SAVA cam that is at a different angle and a bit back from the Apeman. I need to lower the sensitivity on the compact one, I guess, or change the angle or height or something. That took for-literally-EVER to go through, sigh. The blowing deer repellent banners don't help, either, but it was mostly the grass that grew up into the frame over the time I didn't download the pictures. This time lots of possum, raccoon and my own chickens and cat, but very few deer. Fawn dropping time was most likely the reason. I did catch three does in my driveway this morning with my cat in attendance, but not sure my other camera caught the pics. I have two more to download, probably change batteries. I did thumbnails because of the number of pics, but of course, you can enlarge any you want to see better.

This girl was hurt when I was laid up in bed with a broken leg last fall, no idea how, and her neck is cocked over to the left. She was way out there by herself, fox bait. Have to keep an eye on Brandy or she wanders off by herself a lot and she can't run fast or see that well from her odd angle.

Sometimes, I think Hector knows he's on camera. He tends to pose a lot, get close to it and peer at it. He's no dummy, LOL.

This is the SAVAcam, date completely wrong, of course, but all those pics are probably the last part of this month since I changed the batteries and the last download was blank. First is a crow on the right flying, if you can't see it.
